I was referred to USS to have work done on a chimney whose foundation seemed to be sinking. I was able to get an estimate very quickly and an in-depth explanation of what needed to be done, and was put on the schedule quicker than I expected.
Roger, Josh and Jordan showed up and went straight to work. They worked really hard for two days getting it done, cleaning the area when done. They were professional, courteous, very friendly and took care with the property around the work area.
I highly recommend USS,I would definitely use them again if the need arose.

I recently had USS inspect several cracks in my brick-and-mortar. After speaking with Chad, he determined that the chimney was twisting and starting to separate from the house. Chad also examined the basement and foundation and found some evidence of movement.

The best part of this review is that Chad didn't immediately try to sell me on installing foundation pillars. Instead, we had a conversation about why and how this might be happening. It was an educational discussion, and Chad was professional and knowledgeable about the process.

We decided to take baseline measurements of the suspect cracks and areas of concern. USS will return in 6 months to check for any movement. If there's no movement, that's great. If there is movement, we can then discuss a plan of action.
They repaired some of the mortar cracks and will return in the spring to see if further work is necessary.
This company should be very grateful to employees and foremen like Chad. He is worth every cent you pay him, as his integrity goes beyond the paycheck he earns.
