I highly recommend using Torello Engineers for residential inspections for those buying a house. I reached out to Torello Engineers to obtain a residential structural inspection on a house I was interested in. They visually inspected the entire basement, throughout all the rooms, and even crawled into the attic. While some may say that structural inspections are not necessary for residential in most cases, the peace of mind knowing that a house I'm buying isn't going to have foundational issues costing tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars is worth it. Gary and Tony were great and provided a very detailed report with suggested remedies for issues. If you're buying a house in Guilford/New Haven area, I would hire them.

I fully recommend the services of Torello Engineers. They were professional, organized, and responsive. They also showed a clear ability to communicate complex engineering concepts so that it could be understood. I appreciated that they showed a range of approaches to addressing any issue and that their calmness reflected a command of the science with confidence that any problem can be met with a solution.
