I recently scheduled an appointment with Tommy’s HT,& they were very accommodating. It was on short notice,& I needed an urgent oil change due to the oil light flickering on and off. The staff is super friendly and efficient. I have been going there for service for years, but my current vehicle was on its’ first appointment with them. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Tommy’s. You’ll be well cared for,& they have shuttle service, or a nice break room with snacks/sodas, if you’re waiting on the work to be done.

Colton and his team just recently did a repair on my car, and called me a few minutes before closing to inform me that it was ready. The traffic was really bad at that time, so I arrived a few minutes past closing; however, they patiently waited for me and let me pick up my car that same day!

I have recommended their services to all of my friends, and they have always had very positive experiences with Tommy's. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates high-quality customer service and reliability! 😉

I initially went to Tommy's Hi Tech Auto for what I thought would be a simple fix: repairing my trunk. However, after their inspection, my Lexus suddenly had three new "problems"—which was interesting, considering that just days earlier, my trusted mechanic had checked my car and found none of these issues.

I wasn’t willing to pay their inflated price, especially for things I wasn’t concerned about at the time. But shortly after, my car actually did develop problems—though not the ones Tommy’s diagnosed. Instead, I had a check engine light come on and a faulty blower.

Unsurprisingly, they misdiagnosed the check engine light issue, charging me for a new gas cap that did nothing, as the light came right back on. Frustrated, I returned to the shop and spoke with the owner, who insisted it was just a "coincidence" that my car had the same trouble code as before, rather than them getting it wrong.

He then quoted me under $400 "out the door" to fix the blower. I explicitly confirmed that this included tax, yet he still charged me an extra $24. Worse, the blower issue returned almost immediately. When they followed up via text to ask if everything was working, I told them I was still having problems—and they simply ignored me.

Most infuriating of all? I later had my trusted mechanic look at my trunk, and he fixed it with the press of a button—free of charge. He also re-checked the problems Tommy’s claimed my car had and found nothing wrong.

If you go here, expect to deal with, at best, overcharging incompetence and, at worst, a shop that deliberately misdiagnoses issues to take your money. The quality of their work is about as reliable as the owner’s word: completely useless. If you're looking to throw away your money, don’t let them scam you—I’ll gladly take it instead.

I had taken my Camaro for this issue to a different shop in Irving last year and they said they fixed it and charged my around 2K. When I took it to highway, the issue was still there on a very small amount. If I take my hands off and apply break, the handle was shivering very slightly. From there, it worsened and the entire car was shivering. After moving to Argyle, I was searching for a workshop when one of my friends suggested Tommy’s and he had a very good experience with them so far. So I went there and believe me... The steering is rock solid now. They have done an amazing job. Thank you so much for giving me back the better driving experience

The Work was prompt and well done. All the men are very courteous. The shop is clean as well as the waiting area. There are snacks and drinks available. They gave me a ride home while the work was being done and delivered the car to my home promptly when it was finished. I highly recommend them.

Brought my 10 year old Nissan Murano to Tommy’s High Tech in Denton TX for a second opinion after the Nissan dealership in Corinth TX service department said I had a cracked rear suspension boot that would be over $1600 to repair. My better judgment told me to get a second opinion, and guess what No repair needed. Needless to say I gave Tommy’s all my 100,000 mileage maintenance including new spark plugs. Tommy’s has been in business for 30 years and has an excellent reputation. I’ve used my local Nissan dealership because I had a 100,000 mile warranty. But Nissan has now lost my business, and Tommy wins a new customer who will spread the good news of honesty!! Thanks Tommy
