As a wedding photographer, Stone House at Silver Creek is an absolute dream to shoot at! The property's owners, Megan and Braidyn, go above and beyond - they're like your personal wedding cheerleaders who think of everything before you even ask. (They have great ideas as well)
For starters, the historic mansion is a photographer's paradise for getting ready shots. Those huge windows flood the rooms with natural light, and the vintage touches (hello, that gorgeous window seating in the library!) make every corner Instagram-worthy.
The metal greenhouse is legitimately one of the coolest ceremony spots I've seen. And when the sun sets? That old tobacco barn lighting transforms everything into pure gold - perfect for those reception dance floor shots that make everyone look like they're glowing.
If you're looking for a venue that's both a stunning backdrop and run by people who actually care about making your day epic, this is it. The Stone House team has mastered that perfect balance of being super organized while keeping everything fun and stress-free.

My wife and I had our wedding at The Stone House at Silver Creek in December. We could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding day!!! We participated in a wedding event for queer couples and was blown away by the venue, the people, the attention and care, just everything! It’s about time I give the Stone House at Silver Creek the appreciative, praiseworthy review they so absolutely deserve. It’s been a little over a year since my husband and I got married at the Stone House in May 2023 and I am still reeling over the beautiful and amazing experience we had. Megan and Braidyn were the absolute best to work with. If it hasn’t been obvious yet by how long it’s taken me to write this, I am quite the procrastinator who gets overwhelmed pretty easily. Despite wedding planning being one of the more overwhelming experiences I’ve ever had, the Stone House was a light in a very dark tunnel that truly helped guide us through it all. We were met with nothing but patience and understanding at every bump and concern. Megan and Braidyn were so kind and helpful and are just genuinely cool people. Like, seriously super cool and very awesome. They kept the wedding party company during the family pictures and I’m still cracking up over the conversations that were had. We also had to make some last-second changes due to rain and the Stone House crew was on top of it all, getting soaked to keep us dry and carting us through the mud in record-breaking time. It was very apparent how much they truly care about what they do. I wish I had the words to describe just how grateful and blown away we still are by the whole experience. I’ve had two sisters and a few friends get married in the last few years (also part of why I was so overwhelmed) and this was by far the best venue experience I’ve had. On top of the amazing personal interactions, the venue itself is gorgeous and the amenities were everything we wanted and needed. The décor library is the best bonus, but the venue is so beautiful you don’t even need much! You can truly feel the history and care put into it all. There is so much more I could go on about, but I hope what I have said has been convincing, because I can’t recommend it enough. My heart still swells and feels so warm when I think about the Stone House.

We cannot rave about The Stone House at Silver Creek enough. They are the definition of a perfect wedding venue. From the moment we took the tour of the venue to the wedding day they made everything seamless. Megan and Braidyn are angels and guided us along every step of the way. On the day of our wedding, one of our dogs ran away during the ceremony and Megan, Braidyn, the venue staff, and the neighbors helped us look for and finally retrieve our baby. (Literally lifesavers!!! I can never thank them enough!) They were nothing but kind and forgiving, (even though we were not good guests), and for that we can never repay them. The venue has a lot of amazing benefits that made this the perfect venue for us. For starters the venue offers a decor library (over $30,000 worth for free!) that takes the guesswork and cost out of decorating. They also give you ideas and examples of their decor already made up to help those that are not as creative like me lol. The mansion located on the property is to die for! It's a historical house with a lot of history that they are more than happy to share the story of. The main attraction of the house is the mirror often seen in their gallery and attached with this review. It's stunning and makes for the perfect photo opportunity or for getting ready to walk down the aisle. They have many spots to get married at on the property, we chose the tea garden and it was perfect. We had our reception in the over 100 year old tobacco barn, it was so beautiful and easily fit our large group of guests (almost 100 people). You can tell that every detail at the venue was meticulously thought of. They are a working farm when not hosting weddings and they have an assortment of farm animals such as llamas, sheep, and cows! They were neat to see when staying on the property. Like i stated above i cannot recommend The stone house at silver creek enough for a wedding venue! They are affordable, inclusive, kind, and they literally saved my dogs life!

My husband and I were married at The Stone House at Silver Creek on June 11, 2022. It was an absolutely beautiful day at the most perfect venue. From the moment of our first interaction with Megan to setup a venue tour to the night of our wedding, everything was seamless. Every question I had was answered, every detail they had figured out, and all of the typical bride worries were subsided. Due to their knowledge and the way setup their services they were able us thousands of dollars between the linens, flowers, and decor. Their friendly demeanors, openness and willingness to meet the needs of their clients, and knowledge of the business allows them to create a space/event that is unmatched by their competitors.

I truly cannot thank them enough for how unbelievably beautiful our wedding was. Not only did we find a beautiful event space, we also found amazing people.

This was the first and only venue we looked at, we fell in love with everything as soon as stepped foot on the property and talked to Megan. We got married on April 15th, and it was an absolute dream come true. Megan and Braidyn were so welcoming and insanely helpful with everything. Between the communication the months leading up to the wedding and their help day of, they were outstanding and so incredibly helpful. They made our day better than we could ever have imagined. You can’t ask for a better group of people or a more beautiful venue. The Stone House at Silver Creek and the team will forever hold a place in mine and Nathan’s heart. LOVED having our wedding here. Not only was everything beautiful, the amount of care, work, and thought from the venue owners was great. I was not a very good wedding planner and they were so thorough for things I would have never thought of. I’ll happily not be a repeat customer for a wedding venue but do recommend this safe space.

My wife and I could not be happier that we chose the Stone House for our wedding. First of all, their tagline of “jaw dropping wedding at a realistic budget” is absolutely true. The setting was beautiful and it was more than workable with our not super large budget. The option to stay the night before and have our rehearsal dinner at the reception site was great. Megan and Braidyn were wonderful from the start and were even more helpful when my wife hurt her knee while getting ready and needed a little extra assistance. We picked the venue because of the beauty and the values that they say they run it by, and is was so great to see both of those on full display. Thanks to the Stone House team — we couldn’t be more grateful!
