The Moments Memory Care is the absolute best place for my dad. From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that this is not just another senior care facility—it’s a true home, designed with compassion, innovation, and dignity in mind.

One of the standout aspects of The Moments is the incredible staff. Every caregiver we’ve interacted with is not only highly trained in memory care but also genuinely compassionate. They take the time to get to know each resident personally, understanding their routines, preferences, and even the little details that make them feel comfortable and valued. I never feel like my dad is just another resident here—he is truly cared for, and that peace of mind is priceless.

My Aunts medical situation was a bit more complex than most and the ownership and staff at Moments were open to working with us. For that our family will be forever grateful. I recently had the incredible pleasure of a personal tour guided by Elizabeth Wright, the visionary founder and builder of The Moments. Witnessing her and her husbands passion and vision come to life was nothing short of awe-inspiring, leaving my heart full of love and inspiration. It is beyond words that The Moments is not just a place, but a reflection of genuine love and care for those who reside and work there.

Walking through those doors immediately enveloped me in a warm and inviting atmosphere akin to that of home. However, what sets The Moments apart is the staff, who go above and beyond to make you feel like an integral part of their family.

From the moment I set foot inside beyond the entrance, I found myself completely mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty and exquisite craftsmanship of the building. The clever manner in which they harnessed the brilliance of natural light was nothing short of genius. The way they incorporated it throughout the space was an intelligent touch that only added to the overall allure of the environment.

Throughout this unforgettable journey, my breath was taken away multiple times, and I found myself sitting in rocking chairs with Elizabeth looking a beautiful landscaped wall of a classic Minnesota setting, holding back tears at the heartfelt interactions between Elizabeth and the residents. The way they effortlessly create a sense of family is truly heartwarming from resident to staff and back again.

The attention to detail at The Moments is unparalleled, particularly when it comes to long-term memory care. Every aspect of the remarkable property has been meticulously considered, and I found solace in the idea that as my own father who is starting to face memory loss, that there is no place on earth I would prefer for him to be.

One of my favorite features is the themed corridors that cleverly replicate the ambiance of a cozy home with personalized front door for the residents. The thoughtful incorporation of incredible rock and roll hall of fame memorabilia, harking back to "back in the day,” showcases the immense care put into every aspect of The Moments invoking delightful nostalgia.

The staff at The Moments exude an unparalleled level of hospitality and genuine friendliness that is truly extraordinary. Their unwavering commitment to the well-being of every resident is evident in every interaction, leaving no doubt in my mind that my beloved family member would be in the best hands possible. The team at The Moments embodies the very essence of compassion and dedication. Not to mention the top quality culinary staff creating delicious and nutritious menus, that is rare to find indeed.

Furthermore, beyond their exceptional care for residents, The Moments demonstrates their commitment to creating a remarkable environment through their investment in staff and employee retention. I have never witnessed such thoughtful considerations for staff amenities, including a spa, beauty salon room, state-of-the-art workout center for staff and team, an incredible event center located outside in the corridor and even an adult day care facility for those who may need a "Moment" for themselves.

This level of care for the entire community is truly incredible and showcases The Moments' dedication to taking care of everyone involved. The Moments and everyone who played a part in bringing this community to life have now found a special place in my heart.

I will be forever grateful that I found The Moments for my dad (after a couple fumbles). There just isn’t another Memory Care facility with paralleled care and attention to detail.

Consider some of the details that matter at this stage - like heated hardwood floors throughout (no carpet to trip on or gross stains to look at). Their air filtration system ensures that there’s so many less illnesses (and for those of us visiting, less smells that make it unpleasant to visit - ask them about it and pay attention on tours of other places). The TVs are built in to every room - so when your loved one can’t figure it out anymore, the staff can help them. The rooms are cleaned every single day. The laundry is constantly cleaned. My dad’s room was spotless. His clothes were folded and put away for him. When I would take him out, they prepare an info package “just in case” with all of his med info. And when his time finally came, they dressed him in his favorite outfit. They provided ME more care and respect than I could have ever imagined, which means they were also providing HIM with it too! And as I walked beside my dad to the hearse, the whole staff stood in an “honor walk” to say goodbye - which began my healing and I will treasure that image.

This phase of life is not an easy one to traverse with a parent or loved one. The Moments gave my dad a remarkable last chapter. One where he found friends, laughter, joy, dignity and one where I was able to spend time with my dad comfortably, and see that he was treated so well. It made my heart full… to the very end.

I moved my Aunt into Moments Lakeville after living with me following a stroke. A year later, she fell, broke her leg, and Moments was the perfect fit for her. She had dementia and many other physical health issues, had exhausted rehab and was still recovering from a fall. Moments welcomed her with open arms. They are less expensive than most nursing homes, and the place is so beautiful! But most importantly, the care was amazing! The staff worked so hard caring for my aunt, with patience, kindness and a great skill set for all of her needs. They truly became her family, and our extended family. I would recommend Moments to anyone who needs to find a beautiful homey place for their loved one in need of assistant living or memory care.

My wife has been there for 1 1/2 years. I try to go twice a day. The staff is fantastic. I began jotting down the names of the staff for special recognition. I stopped that because all the staff caring for Mary do a marvelous job.

As a professional photographer I have been capturing photographs at The Moments for over 5 years. Working in the background I can clearly say that the facility is a 5 star establishment. From such attention to detail in the construction to how residents get treated by the staff is very impressive. I have witnessed the staff as loving and compassionate with their dealings with the residents. The amount of thought put into the design and construction of the facility is so overwhelming that you have to believe they care so much about their residents. Bravo!!
