I’ve been buying my plants from here the last few years. Recently I wanted a quote for some landscaping. I gave details and was told someone would call to schedule an estimate. When they called as promised, they refused to come give me a quote because I mentioned this was for an insurance claim. I explained they wouldn’t have to do anything extra, but Colin didn’t want to hear it. When I spoke to the insurance agent, they’d never heard of this happening before, especially not with a company that is so well known and supposed to be so reputable. At least they told me before coming out and charging me the $75.

Great time to visit this garden center now in spring, but also anytime when they are open throughout the year. Look at those colors and varieties they have! Shawn Gliha has a great knowledge about plants and the varieties they have available.

They will go a great length to help you find what you need. They also share the care guide and requirements of the plants.

Their plants quality is top notch! 👌

Great variety of healthy plants and a super friendly and helpful staff make this one of my top recommendations for all things related to gardens. This Garden Barn shrub rose was planted in fall 2023 and is absolutely thriving in summer 2024. It's one of my all-time favorite plant purchases.

Expensive, but we bought several plants there today. Well arranged selection, some plant varieties had additional signage to describe them, very helpful. Lots of sculptures, yard deco and shaped shrubs. If you're looking for a specific plant, chances are they have it. Staff was helpful, walking around and asking customers if they needed help. Make sure you read the tags, as the staff can't possibly remember all the details of every type of plant

We have only been here once so far but there is such a large selection of plants, garden supplies, and garden decor. There are a lot of trees to choose from including a lot of fruit trees that seem to look very healthy. There were some good deals on prennials and herbs.

Went today to find an orchid for my fiancé grandmother that just passed, the gentleman that helped me was excellent. He helped me pick out new pot for it and transplanted it for me and was very knowledgeable in anything I asked. Thank you for the great service!

Love The Garden Barn. I come from East Hartland, in the north west Hills of CT. It's worth my time and trip. I belong to their club for rewards and I accumulate my "dollar tickets" and use them in August for end of season deals. I saved for a butterfly tree today. Gorgeous dark red its called but its a dark purple. It's worth just walking around and seeing all the different kinds of plants, flowers and trees they have. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I will return for fall annuals which are out now, then will be back in the spring!
