Rebuilding a John Deere 420 steering cylinder. Made the mistake of going to a couple other hydraulic shops first (poor service, overpriced, no experience). Called Tom and explained what I was doing. Took the time to talk to me and help me out over the phone BEFORE coming in. That's customer service you don't get anymore. I went to his shop and he had all the seals in stock and knew exactly the ones I needed when looking at them. Prices were perfect. Needless to say, I will be returning there to rebuild some backhoe cylinders and hydraulic hoses. THIS IS THE GUY TO GO TO....NOT THE OTHER SHOPS YOU GOOGLE!!

Just like the others who have raved about this shop. I had 2 hydraulic RV lift jacks that after 25+ years they decided to quit working. I called numerous shops and the standard reply was 'we don't work on RV stuff". Just by chance I came across S&T listing. I called and Tom said to bring them by and we'll see what we can do. When I dropped them off the 1st thought was they were welded. He said he could repair but it would be kinda expensive. He suggested some alternatives and he would look at them when he had a chance. I had weeks before I needed them back and so I left them there. Long story short, I called 2 weeks after dropping them off and Tom said he was able to get them apart, repaired and ready for pickup. Just a side note to replace with original OEM would have cost over $500 each. The final cost was way below, I mean way below new cost. Bottom line is this is a very reputable small shop and they treat customers like family. And Tom said they even do slide hydraulics.

Had three cylinders for a Case 1830 skidsteer repaired/refurbished. Only took them eight business days to complete job. One cylinder had a bent rod, the other two needed to be rechromed. All seals replaced and after a week of running the skidsteer there are zero leaks. Most of all people is the cost to get this excellent service was very affordable compared to what other shops want to charge you. I would strongly suggest that if you are in need of any hydraulic repairs, S & T Hydraulics is the place to go for quality work.
