Only giving 1 star because I have to, the ER is supposed to be for urgent emergencies I pulled in with my Father having a medical emergency and I had to wait for 10 minutes i tapped on the glass and the nurses just ignored me the maintenance guy came up front and i asked him for a wheel chair that's when I finally was helped FROM THE BUILDING MAINTENANCE man they wheeled him in i was then told I couldn't go back with him after parking the car the nurses at the ER desk were slow and extremely rude! . I work in law enforcement I would expect better service then this maybe even a little professional courtesy.
Horrible experience.... this is a hospital you're supposed to take care of people. Not be rude. And treat people like garbage...

We went to see someone yesterday and it was a decent hospital I would stay there to..You all need to stop giving bad reviews about the Russell springs hospital. It's clean and germ free and I didn't see no mouse traps or dirty floors. And the rooms smelt clean. And the nurses are friendly

If you care about your sick loved one, you better take them somewhere besides Russell County Hospital. This is the dirtiest place I’ve ever seen. My mom was there for almost 2 weeks and I only saw 1 employee use hand sanitizer before going in to other patients rooms. I saw a mouse run across the floor one night while staying with her. There are mouse traps in every corner and when we asked a nurse about them she said they’re spider traps (like that’s better than a mouse trap?). The nurses are lazy and won’t do their jobs. I asked 4 different people and waited for 17 and 1/2 hours before they gave her medicine to her 1 day. THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE!! BEWARE!!!! My Mom said she would rather die than go back there if she ever gets sick again. The people who give this place a 5 star review are clearly high or delusional or both!

Excellent hospital! Excellent service! We're from out of town, my husband fell and broke his wrist. We had to use the ER. No waiting at all. I would highly recommend this hospital!

Dr. Perkins is the absolute rudest man I’ve had to deal with in any ER ever. You go in literally begging for help and he looks at you like you’re stupid.

I have learned that this is a bandaid hospital. It's not built or run for Healthcare maintenance but to patch u up and send you on. I had internal bleeding and was in great pain after a surgery done in Somerset. They found it and got me back to the hospital that screwed up to begin with. I was treated very nice and I did notice a lack of communication and abit of untrained staff. But I didn't die so im glade about that. Waited 6 hrs for a transport to Somerset. I could have drove it in 45 mins. This place could use better management and cleaning crew. But a shout out to the ER nurses. Very kind.

I had pain in my tailbone for a week straight. I could not sit, lay down, or even walk properly. Going to school was a chore and a nightmare for me. I went to this hospital and they told me “it’s just a bruised tailbone, we’re going to prescribe you some steroids for it.” Shortly after my cousin came and picked me up, took me 2 and a half hours away to Norton Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Louisville. Turns out I had a pilonidal cyst that had gotten so bad it had dug all the way down to the bottom of the tailbone. The Nortons hospital asked if I had taken anything prior to coming there and I told them “yeah the place in Russell County gave me steroids for it”, Norton then told me that’s why it got so bad. I had to have surgery to fix it since it was so deep. I hate Russell County hospital, thanks for taking me seriously since i’m a teenager.

Went their with my lymph node swollen under my arm which ik from my mother which had 5 different types of cancer that is a sign of something bad so thought I gotta do something about it and came to the hospital thinking oh no I gotta get my blood drawled. Ha that was funny they didn’t even check my pee much less my blood and then the dr referred me to an oncologist and gave me some steroids and some antibiotics. I was too much work for them so they gave my paperwork and sent me home!!
