Thought going with a smaller co-op was the way to go however smaller also means less resources and longer wait timer, where the dollar is more important. Turning service on is super easy and well managed just wait till you need something. I have the option to go with Owenton or Duke I’m switching to Duke.

When I go to this location service is great. My bill was prorated for months in the winter and no actual reading was taken at the meter. I ask if it was actually read at the location and was told yes. That was not true I have a camera pointed at the meter and was clearly lied to. I don't appreciate being lied to but also I'm sure the lady on the phone was reading it that it had been but clearly wasn't. The next reading was taken at location and the bill was adjusted correctly and was way lower than it should have been due to over payment for the previous winter months.

So thankful for Owen Electric and all they do to support our community. It is nice to still have a local office to go to when many other utilities are closing theirs.

Often there is a outage as if someone is playing wth the light switch. Off for 2 seconds and then back on again. Happens a great deal more than I am used to, being a former LG&E customer.

All of that land to build that new location on 35, and someone, probably multiple people agreeing, thought that making the drive thru go the wrong way was a good idea. Could it possibly be any more inconvenient to get through?

Cant report outages. When the wind blows the power goes out and is out for hours. I have a family member that needs a breathing machine and it makes for a long night.

Bill's are always on the high end, even when we are rarely home. Power outages are quite frequent and usually take a long time to come back.
