So, after reading a few reviews about the New Imperial Room in Danielson, we decided to go check it out for ourselves. It is set up modestly, but functionally comfortably. We were given time to check out the menu, make our selections and less than a half hour later, we're served our food. Let me just tell you! Crab ragoons w/duck sauce, and pan fried dumplings w/garlic sauce were to die for! The crunch of the ragoons w/ the flavorful, creamy crab filling, and the delicious dumplings, meat filling inside moist noodle dumpling, w/pan sear--were off the charts! A hot sweet n sour soup, I was told, was light broth-not heavy & sticky, as some can be, the ingredients were finely chopped and carried an excellent flavor.

The main dishes were Hunan Double Delight & Gai Poo Lo Mein. First impression : aye, yi, yi! The portions were huge! Definitely more bang for your buck! Each bite gave us a flavor explosion in our mouths! Each ingredient stacked, or layered immense flavors, make you ultimately groan, for how good it tastes!

Overall dining experience: a family affair, informal setting where people actually enjoyed talking amongst the table parties. Ella is the wife, manager and wait staff, and full of generosity & advice on how to get the most from your dining experience, with "secret" suggestions to enjoy genuine Chinese food with more flavors! It's true, over the years, Americans have Americanized Chinese food cuisine, leaving authentic Chinese food in China. Ella and her husband, Chef/cook Ling and their bright, wonderful daughter, Selena, are gracious hosts, who thrill to bring you the best in authentic, flavorful Chinese cuisine!

The atmosphere was very warm and cozy! The owner and waitstaff were very attentive and went above and beyond to make my two young children comfortable and happy. My entire family loved the food! It was the best hunan beef I’ve had. Delicious. We’ll be going back.

Visited the New imperial Room on Furnace St in Danielson. Wonderful relaxing atmosphere, bring the family!
Food was served quickly, bring an empty stomach, really nice portions too!

I never leave bad reviews for any business but this place was beyond disappointing! Not only did they take forever with almost nobody inside the restaurant but the food was NOT GOOD! We literally threw it in the garbage. The beef teriyaki and the boneless spare ribs were dry and tasted old like it was left out for days, we asked for pork fried rice and received chicken fried rice that was horribly bland with no veggies in it other than onions, chicken wings were also very bland and the duck sauce for the golden fingers tasted like straight vinegar! No fortune cookies either like most people expect from a Chinese restaurant. My husband, son and I decided on this place for lunch at work.. It was the worst $43 I’ve ever spent!!!!

Went here for the first time to try their sushi and it was great!
The service was exceptional.
Definitely will go back!
So I went back a week later and it was awful!!!!!!
The tuna was cut so thin you could see through it!

Mixed feelings. I have eaten here twice, both times take out. Staff is nice and was helpful when I ordered. The BEST thing I've had was the Crab Rangoon, probably best in town. Food tastes like high quality ingredients are used. The Chicken fingers and the orange chicken were both soft, I like them crispy. I swapped out the duck sauce for red sauce on the chicken fingers, it was $3 more, they said it was made fresh. ( All other places in town give you red sauce or only charge $1.50) The food is more expensive than other places in town, I paid $15 more than I would somewhere else. Yes the ingredients seem higher quality but don't think it was worth the price. The dining room seems to open and big probably would never dine in(building used to be a rental hall for events)

I ordered #106 Pad Thai with beef
And it was delicious 😋
I was still hungry so I also took a small white rice to go with it as a filler.
Will definitely be coming back again 🤤🤤
