No water. Plumber checked inside pies. All clear. He said outside pipes frozen. I called water authority and said there was nothing they could do. When I asked what I could the person told me to wait until it warms up outside. That could take a few days. The water bill slid already too high. I would expect better service.

If I could give them a zero stars I would. I got a shut-off notice I have USPS INFORMED mail. I went back 4 months never got a bill. Primal certainly did get a shut-off notice bill. The girls in the office blamed everyone else except them. I don't know how to keep their jobs. I certainly hope that Muhlenberg takes them back ovwr. The office girls should be the first to go. If I did my job that poorly I would be fired.

There was another water main break that happened around 12a November 26, 2022. While they did what they could when it happened (which is admirable since this was a holiday weekend), their communication with the community left a lot to be desired. No status reports or eta's, and, worse, it took them 2.5 days to even issue a water boil alert (something that could affect a family's health). Ironically enough, once they did issue the alert, it was buried on their website with less priority then their CC payment notice. They really need to spend time on developing a plan on how to better handle communications in the future.

Paid my bill for 11/1/21 dated for 10/30/21. Check has not been cashed. Recieve a shutoff notice dated 11/3/21 on 11/5/21. How can I get a shutoff notice in 2 days yet they haven't recieved my check after 5 days? It can't be the mail if I recieved the notice. Absolutely unacceptable. When you call at 432pm they do not answer the phone claiming to be closed at 430pm. I highly doubt everyone is out of the office that fast. You cannot shut off my water for your mistake. Call me back!!!!

Just moved to Reading, PA. Received a $30 bill for the first time, stating they will turn off my water. Never heard of this company ever in my life. When I called, this lady (very rude) answers saying from the date of me closing on my house till now I'm responsible for paying the water bill. I get that, but I thought I've already handle this with another utility company. There are so many scams. So now I have to find out what's going on now. But just to say, this company need a whole new crew of employees for their negative customer service. Be happy, you are alive amongst this covid pandemic.

This company's billing practices are outdated and overly aggressive. God forbid your payment is one day late. Not only do they assess a late charge, which is fine, most utilities do, but do they add it on to your next bill? No, you get a shut off notice immediately. Not a nice little "your bill was late, please pay this late fee", but a SHUT OFF notice. Our bill is generally in the $300-400 range which we pay faithfully and on time every three months. This month, for some reason, our bank did not release the check on time so we may have been 1 to three days late and incurred an $18.00 late charge. Today we received a SHUT OFF notice, because we owe $18!!!!! How very insulting and over the top. If there was a choice, believe me, we would not be using this utility, but of course, we do not, so we're stuck with this antiquated, non customer friendly outfit.

Water main break happened around 11pm November 25, 2022. No updates or even an estimate of when water is being restored. This is affecting everyone west of 5th St. Hwy in Muhlenberg. With such a large area affected, you would think they would at least put out a "we're working on it, and we expect service restored by....." but they have said nothing. Closing in on 24 hours without water service.

So I forgot to pay my extra water bill that comes every 3 months and is only around $50. Today a knock at my door wakes me up. I run around getting dressed and run outside thinking it's UGI gas company they want me to move my car maybe. Ask the person outside if they need me to move my car so they can do work. They said they were sent by the water company to turn off my water, for $50. I have been here for five years and this is the first time I was late like this on this bill. This company needs to have more compassion for people. You do not turn off people's water over $50. Maybe try to contact that person in other ways before ambushing them early in the morning and trying to turn the water off.
