I often go in to pay my bill. The girls at the counter seem so unhappy and not very friendly. I hope everything is okay. I don't mean to bug them.

I am a new customer. I was supposed to have water turned on today, when I talked to them originally they told me to start expecting a call around 8:00 a.m., and they would call 30 minutes ahead so I could meet them there since we're not living at the house yet. I get up at 7:45 so that way I can be at the phone and ready to go by 8:00 a.m. however the guy had already called at 7:20 a.m. so I call and they refused to help and refused to have somebody come back out. I explained to them that they gave me the wrong time frame and there was no care compassion or anything from anybody that I talk to. I talked to two people that answered the phone and then I talked to Barb the team head, she was more monotoned and unempathetic then all of them put together. Worst customer service of my entire life and I really wish I did not have to get water from them. If somebody else could start up a water company I bet they would be a millionaire. Because Montgomery county's water services are trash just like their customer service.
they want to set it up for tomorrow, I tried explaining to them that I have a doctor's appointment for my baby in the morning and I have to be at work at 3 pm, there's no care that their customers are living human beings with children and jobs and lives, I am appalled and actually offended at their lack of care for there customers.

The county workers were at my home checking on my issue within 2 hours of my call. Can't say enough about their service. It was excellent. Not only handled the issue I had, they answered all of my questions and concerns. Koodos to Travis King for being so kind. He was also so very knowledgible.

Well utility companies continue their downward spiral of price gouging and poor customer service. The latest atrocity being Montgomery County's new swimming pool filling policy in which you pay to rent a water meter to calculate the exact water you draw to fill your pool. However if you're only topping off because you don't have to drain your pool you no longer qualify for a sewage reduction and would end up spending more to rent the meter than to just pay full price for supply and sewage. But don't worry, it can save you money as long as you need 16,000 gallons or more...what a joke

Had auto pay set up, thought payments would be a breeze like anywhere else I use auto pay. Their system didn’t pull the money and then they shut off my water. The reps you talk to on the phone don’t seem to have a care in the world and the supervisors are never busy. But they don’t have to care because you can’t go anywhere else. Wheras electric you have the power to go elsewhere so customer service is usually really good.

We used to pay or bill with a debit card. They would take the money and say thank you for your payment. Then they shut us off.
After they accepted the payment, they would then kick it off and mark us as unpaid.
We had to pay $1000 to get it turned back on. My boyfriend tried paying it on his credit card. They took the money then said we had to pay cash. We managed to scrape together the $1000 in cash and payed in the office.
They still haven't refunded the $1000 from his card. It's been 2 years.
The lady in the office actually said to me, "Water is not a necessity, so we don't have to work with you."

We had a breakage outside the church and the line was repaired within twenty minutes but the water company told a member they could not come back out. That was on a Friday afternoon. They could have returned but refused. Sunday we had to turn to the internet. Looking at the response from one person we must worship in a area that to them not worth the trouble serving in a timely manner.

Moved two months ago and the Post Office screwed up my forwarding. Bill go my new home was mailed to my old address and return to MCW as undeliverable. Shut off notice was mailed to the old address and was not forwarded. Today my water was shut off and I was informed that it would not be turned back on until my bill was paid which included a $50 trip charge and a late fee. When I contacted MCW and explained the situation they credited the trip charge and late fee and after I paid the bill water was turned back on 45 minutes later. That is true customer service!!!
