This automotive shop is incredible. I accidentally put DEF in the diesel tank of my Ford F-150. I took it to the Ford dealership and they told me it was a lost cause even if they fixed it (which they quoted me an astronomical amount of money) they said there was a possibility it would more than likely give me problems in the future. This was a new truck and needless to say I was devastated I made a few calls and got referenced to Malone diesel in Dripping Springs. From the moment I made contact with these folks I felt at ease. They gave me clear idea of how much the cost would be and assured me they would let me know before they made any moves. I was contacted within a few days the repairs were done in a week and my truck is back on the road as if nothing ever happened. They even sent me a Christmas card! This shop is a first class experience from the quality of work to the communication and finally to the cleanliness and presentation of the office and surrounding business if you want a good honest mechanic try this one out you won't be disappointed!

I went to Malone Diesel to have a DOT Inspection performed on my Ram 3500 Dually pickup. I transport new RV’s commercially to all the different Camping World dealerships across the US which require the DOT inspection. The staff was friendly, courteous and very accommodating. The owner, a very friendly person, conducted my inspection and informed me my “third brake light” was not working. He removed the old brake light bulb, with much difficulty, because I actually sealed around the brake light assembly with clear caulk because of a water leak. I had a replacement build which he installed. The inspection was completed and when I went to pay, the owner said there was no charge for replacing the bulb. That was extremely gracious of him, as it was not an easy replacement. I will be recommending Malone Diesel to everyone and will definitely be back myself. Thanks for your genuine customer service!

During a roadtrip from Houston to Fredericksburg, our Dodge Ram started leaking coolant in Dripping Springs. We stopped to add coolant only for it to leak right out. Luckily, Malone Diesel was only 3 minutes up the road and the truck was overheating by the time we arrived. They got us right in and diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and had us on our way in a couple hours. These guys were very knowledgeable, had a SUPER comfy couch in the waiting area, and most importantly, did great work and got us back on the road. Highly recommend this shop for your diesel work!

Fair priced diesel mechanics. Won't charge full labor for items with synergy. Willing to match/beat quotes...and best of all if you show an interest in doing something on your own, they'll discuss how you can in the future (like, a fuel filter).
