If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve had to jump through what feels like thousands of hoops just to keep my baby fed on the WIC program. They refused to give her the formula she needed and made her try 4 (yes FOUR) other ones that made her sick and get a doctors note before they actually allowed what she needed. They’ve missed appointments that they’ve scheduled with me and have messed up my benefits. Not only was there formula drama, but there has been no baby food loaded on the card even though they know my baby eats solids. I went to check out with the formula she needed today and I look at my benefits, THEY CHANGED HER BACK TO THE FORMULA SHE CANNOT USE!!!!!!!! Now I’m going to have to jump through a thousand more hoops to get it fixed. It’s just sad to know that if this was somebody’s ONLY way to feed their baby, they would be ignorant enough to put that family through hardship and potentially danger.

What do you look for in a health department… Guess you just hope for kind people right? Apart from that who is to say what amenities should be available and what not.. Guess they have a pretty nice parking lot. That is always a plus right ? 🙂

I can only speak for my own experience. The place was empty and quiet when I went. All of the staff I interacted with seemed to be pleasant and professional. However, I wish I had received my bill a bit sooner than four months later.

Lost my kids vaccine records said my son who's had all his shots and was good til he's 11 is not up to date . Had wrong birthrate for my daughter by 2 years she's been going there since birth I had done wic and vaccines for them both til kindergarten there so I know they are up to date.

My wife and I got sick from some prepackaged salad from the Berea Walmart. I called Walmart to let them know about the bad batch, and they couldn't care less. I called the Madison County Health Department and they were great about taking down the information for tracking.

Had an appointment for 12, showed up thirty minutes early, got done with registration, I was then told to sit and wait until called back, was then called back in for registration again because the lady forgot to send it over to the nurses, so after waiting for 55 minutes, told to go have a sit again and wait to get called back, sat for almost another thirty minutes, saw another person come in and get called back after 3 minutes. Very unhappy with the service here. Very unprofessinal
