I took a power steering cylinder that was leaking fluid to Kustes Hydraulics for repair. After it sat in their shop for weeks, they said it was repaired. When I put it back onto the tractor, it leaked fluid all over the garage floor. I called and explained to them what happened and they told me to bring it back to the shop again. I was told there was a seal left out from the first repair and it should be fine now. After getting it back onto the tractor for a second time, it was leaking fluid again worse than before. I called them again to discuss the situation and they told me to bring it back to the shop for a third time. I explained to them it took 1.5 hours every time I removed and reinstalled the cylinder. I told them that I was going to take it to another shop for repair and asked for a refund but they told me that I had waited too long. When I took it to Bluegrass Farm and Lawn for repair they told me that the wrong size seals were used and that is why it was still leaking. I attempted to explain this again to Kustes but they told me that the above was the other places opinion, even though it was shooting fluid out of the end of the cylinder after Kustes repaired it for a second time!, lol. It is working fine now after Bluegrass Farm and Lawn repaired it with the correct size parts. This is a good $298 lesson for me to read other reviews for a business before I have them do any work for me.

I dropped my cylinder off to this place to simply have new seals put in it they told me it would be done in about 3 days, 2 weeks later I called they still haven't touched it. They then took it apart and told me they was waiting on parts this went on for 2 months after they told me it was done I was about to go pick it up but called to make sure they removed a pin that they was supposed to from the beginning and they did not they told me it would be another 100 to remove it I needed it out so I said do it. 1 month later I called and it was still not done I just picked it up anyway. They charged me 400 dollars to put a few seals in and told me it does not come with a warranty. I will never go to this place again.

We had a cylinder with a broken rod and they were able to replace the rod and totally rebuild the cylinder. It took a couple of weeks but we are back in business.

We had borrowed a piece of equipment and had a hose let go, luckily Kustes Hydraulics was just around the corner, we were back in business within an hour or so.

Kustes can not rebuild a cylinder twice the same. Stay away. No one here knows what they’re doing.
