We have had the good fortune to work with Scott on multiple homes over the last fifteen years. He has an incredible eye and vision. But more than that: he listens!

As long time clients, we can also testify that his design and material choices stand the test of time and hard family use and still look great. (We recently put our 10-year-old house on the market and prospective buyers asked if it was just built!)

Scott is always attentive to what, we, as the clients are trying to do and what we do and do not like. (Wish that could be said for all architects!) He and his team are also able to gently push back on our ideas when needed and the outcome has always been better for it.

Scott and his team make building a house or renovating an apartment manageable. Hundreds of small decisions get turned into a few digestible choices. We never felt overwhelmed on an overwhelming endeavor.

Scott is also a consummate professional. He is meticulous with his project management and budgeting. We have always felt that he’s treated our resources carefully and makes wise tradeoffs that benefit the project and the budget. Value based design is a hallmark of Scott’s approach. And we really appreciated that care.

We love our homes. Should we move again, Scott will be our first call. We have referred him to multiple friends and neighbors who have all loved working with Scott.

While we had high expectations, the process ended up being not as described or promised. A year later, we are still dealing with unresolved issues and missing items that we had paid for. As a result, we now have to dedicate additional time and resources to address these concerns. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet expectations, and we would encourage others to carefully consider their options.
