Glad I was introduced to Hi-Dust, luckily I ran into a guy in the Costco parking lot who had lights installed on his Jeep and I had to ask where he was able to get the work done. He recommended Hi-Dust which paid off for me. I had a 40’ Rigid brand light bar that I wanted installed on my roof rack and when I called the shop they suggest I talk to Kevin the electrician.

He was helpful, made time in his schedule for me to stop by within the first couple of days after we spoke. He took his time installing my lights and it came out to my satisfaction. He took the time to show me how things were put together and where the cords were leading to in any case I had any issues I knew where to look. The price was perfect for my budget and the work was done very well. Thank you Kevin!

Will not fix the improper alignment they did that’s caused my front two tires to be trashed. Claims they would fix it, well… look at it. But I have to make an appointment AND drop it off How is that fair or convenient. Why am I having to take a day off work and being liable for transportation for their mistake. They inconvenience me 100% and they are fine? Not cool. They got me in same day when I was willing to pay for it but for fixing their mistake make me wait days and no guarantee? No time frame even available is trash. Just stating to leave it in the morning. If I was paying again I’m sure they would make it work.

They were able to quickly find what I was looking for based on the description I provided. The delivery from Miami to Norfolk was quick and seamless. I had a nail in my tire within a week, and they did not hesitate to fit me in to repair my tire. Would use Hi-Dust again in the future!

Big Bang

I was on the fence about writing this review. I came in for just a mount and balance of my KO2s on a 4runner I had just purchased. They were the only ones who could fit me in before a big trip. I was happy with the quick turn around (dropped it off in the morning and picked up by one), but, when I got the car back I noticed that they had damaged one of the wheels. The wheels were immaculate when I brought the car in. I looked at the other ones and noticed that they had left grease all over the other three. I appreciate them turning it around quickly… but not at the cost of a wheel that’s hard to get. I gave them a shot and won’t be coming back again. I don’t think they are very professional. They could have told me they damaged it and I would have been understanding. Use them at your own risk.

Brian is pretty nice and helpful and unfortunately it wasn’t his work but the work done under the supervision of his shop HI Dust 4X4. The electrician here takes 0 pride in his work uses electrical tape only no heat shrink or connectors. It is the worst electrical job i have ever seen anyone pay actual money for. Very careless work. I had a train horn installed on my truck and i had one put on my friends truck for a surprise along with some other work. After spending $2000 on 2 train horns, I have had multiple problems with my horn and i have taken there and it was fixed every time for a few days then went out again . Then after a few times, and the electrician had to remount the compressor cause the flimsy heat shield he mounted it to ripped the bolts out. They install a new compressor and i felt good that it was probably gonna be ok after that. Well it stopped and i went to check incase it was just a fuse or something stupid. But i found the worst bootleg wiring job from front to back. I had my friends truck rewired $500 and they said luckily it didn’t catch on fire. now i will get mine rewired for another $500 before my truck burns down. I would call him and he would probably tell me to bring it there but last time i didn’t want the bootleg electrician working on my truck so I definitely do not want him to touch it again

There was another small issue where there was a floor jack bent my fender and it was a tad inconvenient but that was accident and brian told me right away and took care of it 100% and it it was just that he would have a 5* review because despite a little accident he took care of it and told me before i even saw it . Which I respect that.
