Impeccable service here at HI-TEK auto by Ali and his team. The first time I came here, my car was literally on the brink of falling apart and if i had driven any further I'd have to have it towed. But Ali made me feel comfortable and much more relaxed knowing my car was in good hands. He explains things patiently and is empathetic - as many times it is a very stressful situation you're in.

I even had to do parent teacher conferences that day and with no way to get home, he let me use the office to sit for a few hours while my car was getting repaired. Their prices are very fair too. It feels reassuring knowing I have a knowledgeable kind, and fair mechanic.

Ali and his son are extremely friendly. To them, the customer is about everything, when I took my car, they walked me through the entire diagnostics. Showed me the actual problem and got me the cost right away. The amazing part of this auto garage is that, they don't charge you, not even for the parts, unless the car is fixed and ready to go. Amazing garage, will definitely recommend to go and ask for Neiman.

I happened upon Ali’s shop because I was in the market for a used car in the area and wanted a reliable mechanic to check it out before I bought it. Hi-Tek had fantastic reviews and the price was right so I brought it in. Ali is friendly, welcoming, and has a busy shop filled with happy people. He took the car for a test drive, then diligently inspected the car and hooked it up to a computer. He quietly called me over to let me know there was far more issues with the car than it seemed. He gave me a breakdown of everything wrong with the car and how much it would cost to fix. Thankfully, he told me not to buy this car. Today I brought another used to car to him and he gave me the all clear to purchase. Ali’s shop is half an hour away from my home, but I will absolutely make that drive for anything my car needs in the future. He’s worth it!

Best Mechanic Shop in Queens! Ali the son of the older gentleman who works here and the guys at this shop are fantastic. My go to guy is Victor. Great demeanor, willing to look at anything you need and very good general knowledge of mechanics. This is one of the only old school mechanic shops left in queens that’s not looking to screw you over. The management sits with you explains to you how much everything costs and how much you will be charged. I have never been to a shop that was this honest and open with their clients. If that wasn’t the kicker they replaced a part for me and when the dash light for this issue came back and I went back to the shop. They spend another 2 hours diagnosing the possible issue and fixing it and didn’t charge me a penny when they figured out it was a defective part. I started going to this shop a little while back when I kept getting screwed by different mechanics but I will be back here to fix my cars. Great shop & reasonable, honest prices.

Fair pricing, quick assessment of our car, and a really fast turnaround time to resolve our issues. We like that Ali Jr was friendly, genuinely seemed to care about his work, and was more than willing to show hubs exactly where the car had trouble. He also took photos of the parts replacement before and after. Ali also took extra time to file down corrosion on our brake parts so the new components would fit well (going the extra mile). He took a drive with us around to block to make sure we were happy with the performance.
If you’re in the general area and are in need of an honest and effective mechanic, go here. They are one of the good guys.
