If they don't have it on hand, they can order it or make it depending on your timeframe. The staff is always knowledgeable and more importantly...willing to help in a timely manner. You be hard pressed to find a better business partnership than one with Froedge Machine & Supply.

Evidently the wife of the owner is the rudest person on the planet. I called to explain the trailer hitch they just welded broke off after 30 feet, and I asked if I could set set up an appointment to get it back in the shop. The wife/owner says, "If we already messed it up, I suggest you take it someplace else. Thank you for your service." And she hung up. I called back 5 times and she refused to pick up. The son of the owner (did not know that information at the time) finally picked up. I asked to speak to the owner, and he explained the situation to me, that they are the family that owns it. I said since she was a co-owner, I guess I have to take that treatment. There was no point in complaining after that.

The hitch before worked for 350,000 on my last vehicle that was a 2013 of the same make and model. I brought in a 2015 to have another hitch installed.

Not only did the hitch break off where they welded (bolts held,) but they removed a 2 foot by 3 foot piece of plastic and put it inside of my car. Now, the floorboards are getting soaking wet after a rain.

I ASSUME THE OWNER IS A GREAT PERSON AND THEY HAVE A GREAT BUSINESS OR THEY WOULD NOT HAVE MADE IT IN A SMALL TOWN - I have had work done there before with no complaints. The son did not refute or defend the mom's actions - this must be a regular occurrence. ***For the record, I paid for the installation + paid a $50 tip since they squeezed me in that day.

This is a very hometown place. It has made quite a few improvements over the past couple years. More parking, better front room, new counter, etc. I only go here for Wix filters for my car. I get a better price here than anywhere else. But everyone in town goes here for parts for their farm equipment or if they need things welded. They also do CNC work. The employees aren’t always that chatty (with me anyway) but I don’t mind. I never have to wait for someone to wait on me.

Ordered filters in November and never received a confirmation email, contacted them via phone and said they would email one to me and never did. Contacted them through email and asked for a receipt and never got an answer.

The filters were on backorder and it is now May and still have no filters so I called them up to ask for an update and as soon as I started explaining my reason for calling the girl hung up on me.
I called right back and she apparently left for the day and the guy left her a message to call me back and never did.

Seems like a very shady operation and would not trust ordering from them. I will now need to file a dispute to get my money back and report them to the Better Business Bureau.

I live almost an hour away from this place and it's the only place I trust for complicated repairs like welding cast iron to steel. Everyone I've worked with at this location to date has been extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is also my go-to place for buying metal for my projects, I can get metal locally or online but Froedge seems to have a much better price on the raw materials. I also have a neighbor that tells me he drives the hour drive any time he needs a hard-to-find part like a bearing for his farm equipment or to have hydraulic cylinder work done so I'd give this place an EASY 5/5.

I'd recommend this place any day for any kind of machine work or welding you might need done.

Placed order for Lucas Lithium Grease 8 Oz. tube in late January via Walmart. The Oversized 9"x10" bubble shipper the item was supposedly shipped in; arrive damaged and in an unsealed condition; verified by USPS stamps. The only thing inside package was the packing slip. I contacted company at least TWICE, ( Walmart did the same) and advised them of my poroblem. As of today 3 March 2022 they have not bothered to send response. They seem to have a lot of shipping issues and excuses. After hounding Walmart (3) times they finally gave me a refund. Froedge Supply has very poor customer service, and little concern for them. Would have given them a Zero rating but Google doesn't give us that option

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! NEVER AGAIN!! DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!!

I ordered a product from them through Walmart since they had the best price but the best price doesn't mean anything if you never receive it.

Product was ordered on 2/10/20 and was supposedly shipped on 2/12/20 with a delivery date, no later than 2/21/20. Today is 2/24/20 and I still don't have the item. Even worse, USPS tracking only shows that a label was created and they are waiting for the package but it's not in their system.

I left several messages with Froedge last week but never heard back. Today, I had to waste more time and called the company directly where I was then told to call another number. They insisted that the package was shipped even though I told them the tracking says USPS hasn't received it. So, now they say, they will now ship the item again. Really? Was it ever shipped in the first place?

If I don't receive the item by next week, I will be forced to waste even more time by disputing the charge with my credit card company.

BOTTOM LINE: You get what you pay for. And what a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME this was dealing with FROEDGE!! NEVER AGAIN!!

UPDATE:

Apparently, there was NEVER A SECOND PACKAGE SHIPPED!! What happened was, after I complained when I never received the item after several weeks, then they finally gave the original package to the Post Office. If they shipped a second package as Emaily stated, I would have received a duplicate item, which I didn't.

I'm in the mailorder business and I ship thousands of items through the Post Office and I can't remember the last time an item was lost.

This is just VERY POOR SERVICE on behalf of FROEDGE!!
