Brought sets of speakers and Amplifier on different occasions - picked them up from their warehouse in Canley Coventry. All perfect and well boxed. No fuss / no issues. Nice shop with a good range of equipment and records. Knowledgeable staff, no high pressure sales. Bought a Rega P1 Plus which they had in stock. Very pleased with the staff recommendation. Would fully recommend buying locally from these guys. Showroom easily accessible with plenty of parking. Carried out to the car for us too, will be a returning customer.

You can tell the quality of a supplier/shop not by when everything goes right (although we always want that), but when things go wrong.

I recently bought a Project E1 BT turntable - all the big names were out of stock and Frank Harvey's had one left. Not used them before, but ordered and paid for next day delivery - next day it arrived. Brilliant!

Upon opening and unpacking it, I found that the shaft has snapped, just where the counter balance was. The box had arrived sealed and in good condition, so was gutted to see this.

Called FH and spoken to Mark, they didn't have any more in stock so he needed to talk to the supplier - after then weekend 🙁

First thing Monday, had a call from Mark - supplier had stock and replacement ordered. Wednesday the return was picked up and today the replacement has arrived. Perfect.

The E1 is now all set up and hooked up to the Bluetooth, and I know that is counter getting a turntable in the first place, but my other half has all the 45's that her grandparents used to buy. They would take it in turns, save up and get a new one each weekend between them.

We've invited her parents over and unknown to them we'll now be able to play the records that they used to hear when growing up again - sometimes it's not about the quality, but the memories.

AVOID!!! I purchased a SVS PB2000 subwoofer from them. I believed all the good reviews and initially, things were great. Frank, the owner, hand delivered the subwoofer as his courier companies wouldn’t deliver such a heavy item. On the 30th day, I realised there is a noise coming from the subwoofer with no input. I raised it with them on a Friday 19th July 2024 and they said the warranty chap would contact me on Monday 22nd July 2024 to discuss options. No one called me so I called them on the Monday and Thomas Tonk answered. He was very rude, arrogant and generally a piece of work to deal with. He first started telling me that I need to return the sub to them to inspect at my own expense as it was over 30 days since delivery (I notified them on the 31st day). I asked to speak to a manager and turns out there is no manger, the next senior person is the owner Frank. Now that he could tell I was annoyed and probably worried I was going to go above him, he asked for me to send a video of the fault etc. At this point, I had enough of speaking with him so just asked for Frank to call me. This Thomas Tonk was unable to give me any timescale for when Frank would call me. I asked, so your saying it could be 2 days, 2 weeks or 2 years and he bluntly replied yes. Now I am stuck with a broken sub and no after sale service!!!

Well worth traveling to as they have so much choice on show in their studio. They even have an internet shop under the Hi Fix brand if you want to order online. Thank you and will come back again x

Fantastic experience. Very knowledgeable people. I bought a complete system with Kef Q950. Q650C, Q350, Q50atmos and svs sub, denon x4700h and marantz 7055. Dealt with Blake who gave me some very good advice. Overall very satisfied. I recommend 100%. All was done by phone as i live very far away and the entire equipment was packed very nicely for a long journey.
