I'd agree with the other reviewers. Contacted John because of the good online reviews. Spoke to John on the phone, he said that he will provide me the quote in few days. Week later, nothing, I called him again and he promised to get back to me in 2 days once he drive by the property. 5 days later - nothing.... He might be a good surveyor, but definitely not a good business owner.

I chose John due to his "good" reviews but I had the same experience as others. I was asked to send text with info & give him a few days to get back to me. I waited ONE WEEK before texting him asking him if he was able to view the property. Days later, I have not received a response back! Bad, bad, BAD business practice not to respond back to potential customers. The best advertising is word of mouth!

was looking for a Surveyors near me and this came up with excellent reviews so I went on and called him. he asked I text him my info and what I was looking for. I did. He proceeded by say he was going to drive by to look into the property and will get back to me. well I'm still waiting for his call/text. I text him back 2 days after to follow up and see if he'd be able to do my job and give me a quote. no response what so ever.

not sure if he drove by my property or not. if he did what was the issue to not do my job. just completely ignored my request for a quote.

there is no obligation to do certain jobs but if you are not interested in doing a job just be kind enough to response to the potential client. Don't just ignore them.

Looking around for a surveyor and gave him a call was told I was going to get a call back after I gave him my address and all and still haven’t gotten anything. It’s a lot easier to just say you don’t feel like giving a quote rather than letting people waiting for nothing.. but I will keep “shopping” to find someone responsible enough to do their job.
