We had a wonderful experience with Mather at Clark landscapes when we installed our inground pool. Mather was one of many companies we had contacted to come take a look at the project and the the third one to visit us. We knew once we met him and heard his recommendations that is was not worth pursuing other quotes. Mather had great plans and designs for our space that no one else had thought of. From the beginning, Mather and his employees were professional, respectful, on time, and hard working. We were amazed with the detail that was put into the patio and stone work, as well as the choices for plantings and locations. Mather himself was involved in every step and was always available when we had questions. Overall, we were so pleased with Mather’s work and professionalism that we will have him back for our next project.

I am one of those people who researches things obsessively before finally pulling the trigger. As such, I spent many years planning my landscape project before searching for a contractor. I eventually narrowed the pool to three and met with each to discuss the project. All three were competent firms, had designs that looked great, and had excellent portfolios. In the end, Clarke Landscapes was the easy choice. Mather stood out from the rest with his thoughtful design and he came across as being a really genuine and good person. When you are hiring someone to work on your home, trust in your contractor is right up there with skill and vision. Oddly enough the designs I had thought I wanted all along ended up being transformed into something very different - in a good way. I was stuck on straight lines and boxes and Mather convinced me that a less structured approach incorporating more curves would create a better result. Of course he was correct and our backyard was quite literally transformed - if the house wasn't there it would be unrecognizable as the same space. His team was great and paid attention to the smallest of details to ensure everything was perfect. I recommend Clarke Landscapes without hesitation and would use Mather and team again in a heartbeat.
