My bill was messed up, numbers and letters jumbled, and auto pay didn’t work and I got charged a late fee despite auto pay working for a year and a half. I called and my husband went in to figure it out only to be argued with, told they couldn’t refund late fee of $18, “it’s impossible” they said. We asked them to atleast tell us our usage for the month because if I’m getting charged then they have to know the usage. The bill literally had all kinds of errors and the usage didn’t make sense. They argued and disagreed and kept printing out papers with the wrong info.

Finally a woman came out from the back and explained that there was a mistake on the bill but the amount was correct, okay I understand. She then explained that fees over $300 cannot be accepted through auto pay, okay I understand even though I was never told that. Then she waved the late fee and we paid and moved on. How easy would that have been to do from the beginning?

What became an all day thing should’ve been
“Oh wow! That bill does look messed up, let me figure that out for you!” Instead of someone who just literally wants to be hateful. If you hate people so much, maybe just find a new job.

Your online bill pay no longer accepts by account number saying it isn't correct. All my numbers for this account are correctly entered. Called your office every month now for almost a year and your clerk is rude. She says I need help to enter the numbers correctly. I am very computer literate and my numbers are entered automatically by my computer. Get your services fixed and hire people who have customer service skills and can converse with your customers respectfully.

Absolute garbage and it’s ridiculous we’re forced to deal with these subhuman inbreeds. Shut my electric off for a bill they claim was unpaid, holding the receipt in my hand as I type this for the supposed unpaid bill. Nothing more needs to be said, they’re the reason I’m selling my house and leaving Paris. Regret ever moving here.

It’s been nothing but issue after issue. Never ending construction outside, power going out 5 times in the year I’ve been here. Whole town needs to be bulldozed. I guess that’s what happens when you move to a place that has no identity besides sharing the name of a city it could never hope to compare to.

I genuinely feel that this utility company should be investigated. Their costs are ASININE. I have lived in this house for almost 4 months now, and my utility bill has jumped SEVERAL hundred dollars. Every month it is significantly higher than the last month. Our heat is barely even on, we don't use any lights or anything aside from a few hours at night and it's minimal if we're using anything at all.
I got a $500+ bill for this month, I called frantically to request a meter reading and find out what's going on only to be cheerfully told to expect it to possibly be $650 next month?!?!?!
I have NEVER in my life dealt with utility bills that are this outrageous. I cannot wait to move, and frankly these people will be lucky to get any more money from me. I have already had to scramble to come up with enough to cover the last unexpectedly high bills, and then it jumps to FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS for literally no reason! We have done nothing different, aside from consciously making an effort to cut EVERY use unless it's absolutely necessary, yet the bill just keeps rising?!
What really bothers me even more is that we are struggling to overcome a pandemic, people can barely afford to even put food on the table yet y'all are out here taking advantage of a CLEARLY IMPOVERISHED area and the people who have to live in it. You are ethically and morally bankrupt and should be embarrassed.

Every single person who works here is incredibly rude. I moved 2 months ago and keep getting “finals bills” for 2 months now and they refuse to acknowledge it or fix it. Every time I pay what is supposed to be the “final” bill, I’m hit the following month with another final bill. Then they’ll call you a liar when you ask why you received two. A shame this is the only option for me and my home, I’d rather eat glass than keep handing them my hard earned money.
STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN!

They charged me for a city trash can for years without me knowing. I don't remember the exact amount, but it ended up being quite a bit. When I noticed the charge and tried to get a refund they wouldn't reimburse me anything at all. They kept saying that I had ordered the trash can when I in fact did no such thing. At least they took the monthly recurring charge off my bill.

Got cut off before due date first time, second time got cut off after showing cashier a letter of confirmation of an application submission to not have utilities cut off, from the Governor’s “Healthy At Home Relief Assistance.” Cashier said it was not acceptable because they are not KU or Bluegrass Energy, they’re a municipality. The utilities at this company are too expensive to even get caught up after a pandemic. This company needs to be investigated.

Horrible company,I hardly use any electric, yet my bill is always high. This month I paid $560, last month it was $240.When I figured up the cost per kilowatt hower it was .11 in December but .17 in January ,so I didn't use that much more they just charged more ,I never got a notice the rate was increased.I guess they just charge whatever they want.
