The Boys and Girls Club of Milford has been a second home to me for years. I started as a kid attending the programs, and the positive impact it had on me was life-changing. The staff are incredibly supportive and made every day fun and engaging. As I grew older, I became a Junior Staff member, which gave me the opportunity to develop leadership skills and give back to the community that had given me so much. Now, as a Summer Camp Alternate Director, I can see firsthand how the Club continues to positively shape the lives of the children who come through its doors. It's amazing to be part of an organization that truly cares about each child's growth, well-being, and future. The Boys and Girls Club of Milford is more than just a place for kids—it's a place where futures are built!

As a busy parent I have been searching for a trusted place for my kids to go to after school to burn some energy and feel like they belong. Over the past year I have had many of my clients recommend this place specifically. I met the staff who seemed friendly and passionate about what they do and decided what the heck let’s give it a shot.

So I sent both my daughter and son there, and so far…. They LOVE it! I was shocked at how overly positive their reaction was on just their first day! What a relief, because we have tried so many similar places in the past. In fact they love it so much they want to ditch their typical summer camps and go here instead.( do you guys even do summer camps?) Regardless, It just feels good knowing your kids truly can enjoy a safe environment outside of school. Highly recommend for weary parents with previous bad experiences with after school facilities/activities.

Boys and Girls club in Milford is a class act! My son is on the spectrum and they have shown him great love and attention from the day we toured. Well- trained staff that provides quality after school care so I know he is in good hands when I am working long shifts at the hospital, and they have always been flexible with my individual requests! 🙂

The Boys & Girls Club of Milford is AWESOME! They are doing great things for the kids and the community! I wonder if these people with the negative posts have actually been to the club and witnessed what actually happens there. The children are treated wonderfully well and the staff does NOT have air conditioned offices. Don’t berate a wonderful service if you don’t have the nerve to show your face and hide behind a fake name! If you have a child that needs a safe and loving place after school and during the summer… Boys and Girls Club of Milford is the place for your children!

My experiences with the Boys and Girls Club of Milford have been nothing but positive. I know from a personal perspective that many children have overcome many difficulties in their lives and if it not for the guidance and support they received from the staff, administration and board, they would not be succeeding today. my son was 5 years old and summer camp 2022 was his 1st time attending. Everyday after it ended I was asked "when am I going back to summer camp mommy?!"...There is no better feeling than knowing you picked a great summer camp and your child is excited and very eager to go back!
