The Bowie House Hotel is indeed a beautifully decorated, clean hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. The location is a bit lacking. However, I was taken aback by their practice of charging for concierge services. Most concerning was the fact that it was not disclosed to us. I am very well traveled and have stayed at many 5 star hotels. Never have I been charged for concierge services. In this case, we asked for assistance with booking horseback riding. The cost was $75 per person. The concierge charged us a 20% fee and neglected to tell us a gratuity was included. We paid and gave a $40 tip. What would have cost $150 was over $200 for the pleasure of having the concierge book for us. The cost is not the issue, it is the total lack of transparency. We were not told there would be a service charge for the hotel in addition to the service charge for the vendor. I had to discover it when I was on the vendors website and questioned the hotel as to why the vendor posted $75 as the fee but the hotel told us $90. That is when we were told, we charge a service fee on top of their fee. Just to be sure, I reached out to the Drover Hotel. They told me the only fee for concierge services is a “smile on our guest face”! Guess where we will stay next time?

The Bowie House is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location and excellent rooms. Everyone in the staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially the manager Andrew who worked hard to make sure we had no issues with our stay.
Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a luxurious hotel in Fort Worth.

We hosted our daughter's wedding at Bowie House. The rooms are beautiful, relaxing and well appointed. Great location to Dickies, Museums and great restaurants. Bricks and Horses is a great restaurant located in the hotel. The wedding ceremony and dinner reception was perfect. The staff at Bowie House went above and beyond to make our evening special and wonderful.

Emily gave an excellent tour of the art collection. She is extremely knowledgeable and energetically described the artwork displayed. I ate lunch at the Bricks and Horses restaurant. The food was excellent, as was the service. I strongly recommend stopping for a visit.

Bowie House is the best hotel in Fort Worth, really no comparison to the others. They should all take notes. We had the most amazing time. The food and drinks were beyond and we can't wait to come back to experience everything all over again. The staff especially was what made our stay the most special. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

This hotel was beautiful. Everything was designed with thought and elegance. It was a perfect marriage of Western flare and high end opulence. Location is tucked near the cultural district, within walking distance from the renowned Kimball Museum of Art. One upscale restaurant with interesting menu and great service. This is not a place to pinch pennies but it is worth every one.

Room Improvement: we asked questions to the young girls at the front desk about the surrounding areas and they had no clue. Staff should be well-versed on the area and questions that may arise.
More comfortable chairs and foot rests in the spa relaxation area. They were definitely picked more for aesthetics rather than comfort.

My daughter and I went for a "stay-cation" and girls' time after a stressful couple days. It was a magnificent place to get away! The hotel is chic, warm, and inviting. It is the perfect melding of TX cool and elegance. The room was beautiful and inviting all the way down to a hand-written welcome note. We felt welcome and special. The spa was gorgeous. We loved sitting in the infra-red sauna and felt spoiled with plush robes, fragrant water and Powerball treats. Every staff member we interacted with were so attentive and engaging. Paige, an event coordinator was so kind, offered us suggestions of cool places to eat, and really made our stay memorable. The manager, Andrew took time to talk with us and make sure we were happy with everything about our stay. He shared some cool info about the hotel and made sure we left happy. I can't say enough about how relaxed and pampered we felt when we left. It made our mother-daughter get away one of the best ever. Thank you, Paige, Andrew, and Bowie House! Highly recommend a stay or an afternoon here!

Absolutely everything we want in a luxury hotel stay!! So clean, quiet, peaceful, accommodating, and luxurious. The beauty and uniqueness alone of this hotel is worth booking. You need to experience Bowie House! I lounged by the pool midday while sipping an elderflower spritz and munching on za’taar fries. The ambiance was perfect. In the evening I enjoyed one of the best espresso martinis in all of Fort Worth in the “library” section of the bar. The bar is a must-see and experience! Then we had steak, champagne, and wine at the restaurant. There is no need to leave the property, the best experiences are on-site! I’ll try the spa next time. Shout out to Andrew, the front of house manager, who was so polite and accommodating. Thank you Bowie House, we celebrated our anniversary in pure luxury!!
