I don't know why there has been such bad reviews about Wake Forest, I'm on my third year here and I have never had a serious problem with administration or faculty or anything. It's all about mutual respect, so if you don't treat them with respect, they will reciprocate that. This is a great school and whenever I need help, I receive it as the teachers are very kind and only want their students to succeed. The students are very accepting and nice to one another, but our school is not perfect and there are issues every once in a while that get resolved efficiently and quickly. I love Wake Forest High School and wouldn't want to experience high school anywhere else!

I would never send my child to this school to be mentally and verbally abused about their race for months while school officials did nothing. And should my child fight back, they would be suspended and the white child let off the hook. Do not send your child to this school if you love them and care about their mental well being.

If you are a non-white student beware of this school. They have a record of treating and punishing children that are non-white harshly comparatively. Although they have a 90% African-American Administrative staff. I guess it is reverse racism. And, no one is correcting the problem. They have already been on the news for the disparity and they continue to run rapid. Maybe if a group of non-white families can get together and sue the school system it would stop. Or fire the non-effect staff that works there.

As a parent you want your child to attend a great school. We moved from a different state and we love NC but the only thing that has made this move horrible is this school. I dont understand if the office staff, teachers, guidance councelors are bothered by helping the students, then why have that job ? I have never heard of guidance councelors brushing off students and not once returning a phone call to a parent. I am considering switching schools horrible just horrible.

I have 2 kids in this school. Both in AP/Honors classes and both in the Marching Band. The problems here are no different than the problems elsewhere and are greatly inflated. A fantastic sports program and awesome location. As with any school, if your kids are not a problem, there won't be a problem.

Wow what a disgusting place for children to go to supposedly learn. If no star was available that's what I damn sure would've given. To any of you teachers that are racist,and you KNOW WHO YOU ARE, to stand by and allow and another student to give threats, and verbally abuse another young man because of his race is purely disgusting. Quit your job and join the KKK if that's what you are about and that's what you support, a school is not the place for you. Just disgusting

This school hosts fireworks for the forth of July and charges $5 per person. Not a problem paying but when they do not have more than 30 fireworks and can't finish them due to it being to dry? (it has been pouring her for a week) I have a problem! Please reschedule or gave at least half our money back!

this is a crappy school for just having racism around & punishing the one who was sticking up for himself. Anybody would feel tired of hearing hateful words. I know i would. That teacher should be fired for not standing up for micah or handeling the situation.
