Took a cylinder in for reseal.
Replaced standard threaded reducer fitting with a metric fitting that was not a flow reducer on one side of cylinder only. Threw away old fitting (fitting did not have any issues prior to taking it in) Somehow tested cylinder unaware that fittings on either side had completely different thread pitches, could tell thread pitch was different visually inspecting it. After three trips to and from store cylinder had fitting with correct threads. Incurred equipment damage due to new improper fitting not reducing flow of hydraulic fluid.

Second visit brought in a different cylinder. They had cylinder for 4 weeks or so. Called store, they claim cylinder is ready but they’re just waiting on pricing. The next day they call and say the cylinder is ready. I go to pick up cylinder only to be told the cylinder is “beyond economical repair” but also that they could not figure out how to take cylinder apart and were wanting to cut it open, reseal, and weld it back together after. Told me to buy new cylinder. John Deere put it together without welding on a cylinder with brand new seals in it. From bush went straight to different hydraulic shop, they resealed cylinder in four days.

Took cylinders in and asked for a quote to repair. 2 days later I called to see if they had a chance to look at my hydraulic cylinders and was told they were already repaired when I had just asked for a quote to repair them. Robert called me back and was very unprofessional and told me it was 300.00 to replace seals, if I didn’t want to pay that he would pull out the new seals and put my old ones back in. I would not recommend doing business with these people ever.
