My experience is reflective of ownership and upper management of Mile High Honda's Parts Department. Every employee I have spoken with has been friendly, kind, and helpful to the best of their ability, however, it is apparent that their abilities are hindered by upper management and ownership.

Every other Honda dealership in the area was able to assist me quickly and effectively without a runaround on pricing (the price quoted from Mile High Honda didn't reflect their website whereas other dealerships were clear across the board). Moreover, the employees here are clearly overwhelmed as I am always placed on a lengthy hold and have been forgotten about multiple times. After arriving in person, it was clear that the staff are not supported properly by upper management. Employees are doing the best they can with the resources provided to them, so it's no wonder I get placed on multiple holds (sometimes 30 minutes and more). The employees are clearly overworked and underappreciated, not provided adequate resources (while on site, I overheard an employee discussing with another customer that they used to have a call center. Due to this loss, people are often placed on lengthy holds).

Instead, I am driving to Boulder to purchase the parts I need - two hours out of my day that would have otherwise been 45 minutes with Mile High Honda. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for any and all needs regarding Honda parts service, sales, and assistance. Management and ownership clearly does not have a grasp on proper process and best ways to handle their business needs.

I made my appt one month in advance and they sent me a number of reminder emails. When I got there they didn’t have my appt on record, I needed to give them all of my information again, and they didn’t even know what services they were performing for me. An hour and a half into the appt they told me zero of the parts were ordered/available and they could only do the (overpriced) oil change. The service rep kept promising to talk to a manager about a discount that never came through. Terrible and disorganized service, don’t go here.

I had a terrible experience with this dealership. I was assured that although I agreed to a massive interest rate (almost 30% apr), I would only incur interest with late payments. After paying well above the minimum and paying on time each month, I was stunned when I recently checked and saw that I have incurred over $500 of interest this year alone! As for the vehicle itself, I just paid $1000 to repair the battery and alternator after having the car for less than 8 months. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE if you don't want to be pressured, misled with regards to whether or not you will incur interest, or have to spend money fixing underlying problems they failed to mention. When I popped the hood after first having issues, there was a dirty rag UNDER THE HOOD as well as several cigarette butts. I am extremely exacerbated by my experience here and feel foolish for having allowed myself to be taken advantage of.

I brought my 2005 Honda Element in for an easily noticeable winding/grinding noise. After a diagnostic I was told the fix was about $4000.00 in the front end. I was also given a list of other fixes needing attention and decided why not. Grand total was going to be about $6500.00. Would never usually spend that much on an older vehicle. It was going to be a car for my kids to drive. Either fix this one making it safe to drive or buy a another car. An additional repair, I did not do because of cost was replacing the catalytic converter and heat sensor. Would have been an additional $4600.00 and was not an emergent repair, but would need to be done later in the year so I could pass emissions testing.

I dropped the car off, get all the repairs done and go to pick it up. Drive off the lot and the same loud grinding/winding sound was there. I was not happy as I just paid $6500.00 to have just about everything repaired. I drove it back and asked the service agent to have the tech ride with me to ensure the noise was recognized. This noise was ominous and always present while the vehicle was in motion. Tech took a ride with me and he heard the noise. He believed it was a rear bearing that was going out. Left the vehicle with them again and went home. I was provided a loaner vehicle during the entire duration of repairs. This was very convenient.

I was called and told it was a rear bearing and they were going to replace it on the house. The bearing would cost $800.00. They also offered me a $190.00 credit for future services. I did not like that deal. So I asked for a manager. I talked to the Director of the service department Brett. I explained to Brett I was not happy I paid $4000.00 to fix what should have been an $800.00 problem. Brett tried to offer me other ways to make it right but I was firm with what I wanted. I told him you can not tell a customer a fix will cost $4000.00 and it not actually fix it. Then to find out the actual fix to only cost $800.00. I told Brett I wanted be refunded the $4000.00 dollars. I also offered to still pay for the rear bearings (the actual fix)which would have me refunded the difference of $3200.00. Brett said he could not do that. Some more negotiations were discussed, but I refused to budge. Brett was trying to make it right, but not how I saw fit.

Without refunding me the full $3200.00 Brett asked me how can I make this right. I told him he could replace my catalytic converter and heat sensor. Brett initially told me this was not possible, but after some phone calls told me he could do it. He asked if I was willing to pay for the bearings and I requested them to be done with the cat converter and sensor on the house. Brett agreed and the repairs were done. I ended up paying about $6500.00 for about $11900.00 worth of repairs. I believe the service tech who worked on my vehicle made a big mistake. Brett had to basically answer for that mistake. It does suck when that happens. I did not care for the back and forth haggling to make the situation right though. In the end I was more than fairly compensated. I have taken my Honda there for other repairs and services and had no issues till that point.

I’ll never buy another Honda again after my experience. This place is nothing more than a facilitator for the underhanded, borderline illegal dealings conducted by Honda Financial Services. Do not trust this place. If you must have a Honda, get financing elsewhere.

I have a car that I haven’t been able to drive for three years thanks to them & everyone involved refuses to help because they got what they wanted…money.

Very bad maintenance service, they left the transmission dipstick on top of hood lock and they do a break fluid flush and started to leaking because didn't tighten the bleeder screw. Not recommended
