This place is a true gem, found it a few months ago while I was in Shelton doing business, this place is definitely worth checking out! Especially if you’re in the mood for a great one of a kind burger, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!
The portions are great sized, fresh, quick and service has always been one of a kind, they make you feel right at home!
Kid friendly, they have a good selection of sodas, and the beer selection is fantastic, something there to drink for everyone.
I recommend the Arcadia Amber or the Beastman Porter if you’re into the darker beers.
The food is amazing I’ve only had the bridge burger and the blue cheese burger and hands down is the best burger I’ve ever tasted.
I highly recommend you make the stop in here and check it out especially for a great burger and a cold beer that tastes really good.

To the staff at High Steel…..whatever you’re doing keep it up, the food, the service and beers are fantastic and the hospitality is one of a kind, keep it up, we will be continuing to come back!

Glad we stopped by and gave it a try. We tried the chicken bacon ranch wrap and the Charleston chicken sandwich. Both were delicious.

The atmosphere was amazing its art deco / American Legion authentic vibe.

The staff were fun and engaging.

Normally when the beer is really good the food is kind of just, eh… but here it’s so not the case!

I got the Banh Mi sandwich and my partner got buffalo chicken nachos.

I loved Vietnam, explored the country north to south.

The Banh Mi sandwich gave me Vietnam street food pho taste in the meat with the pickled veggies and a bun that took you straight to a high end baseball field. It was the biggest wow moment in dining I’d had in a while.

The tater tots were amazing, not greasy, crunchy, not overly salty, just perfect!

I’m going on about the food but the IPA was deep in flavor and yet drank lightly. Dangerous! Haha!

Highly recommend you go and try this amazing place! It’s the trifecta of lovely staff, amazing food, and fantastic micro brews.

Haven’t seen it’s equal in along time!

We came here on a Monday afternoon with a large group of adults and kids with plans to just have a quick beer and then find a dog-friendly place instead, but ended up staying for about 2.5 hours. The server was very helpful, friendly and patient. We ordered several beers, enjoyed their food and happy hour deals and the kids enjoyed the arcade and puzzle games. Highly recommend and will be back if we’re ever in the area again.

Beer's we tried were excellent. Food was much better than what I would call "pub grub " I mean sure... a basket of tots is pretty common... but Smokin Jo's BBQ is pretty dang good. Atmosphere is pretty typical for a micro brewery. Certainly is history in this building. Folks that run the show and all the wait staff we encountered are very friendly. They support veterans well too. Will keep coming back here because they do all the above very well.

I definitely get why this restaurant has such high ratings. The staff is quick, efficient and friendly. They have a golf simulator, pinball machines, small shuffle board and bunch of extra games to play. The food is reasonable and taste good. I definitely do recommend this establishment for a big party or a small party.

We went for trivia night and dinner. Good food, good beer, fun time! Fish and chips, apple salad, tater tots....everything tasted great. Will definitely be visiting here again. And our team placed second in the trivia game! Very family fun oriented with games, pinball machines, golf game.
