Original post below. I had an issue when I first brought my car in, obviously. When I got it back it so happened that I had more problems than what I originally started with. Originally I wasn't satisfied with the response I received when I called to report the new issues because it was made out to be fault of my vehicle or previous faulty wiring.

They reached out to me a week after to see how everything was working on my car and when I told them it was worse than what I brought it in with they had me bring it back. They checked it out to make sure it wasn't something wrong with the parts/work performed and found a bad wire set. They didn't charge me for the diagnostic and I was happy to pay for the work. My car is running better and everything in it works properly.

After all said and done I would recommend this shop because they reached out to me and worked with me to resolve the issues and concerns that I had.

ORIGINAL POST:
$500 plus for a diagnostic and ignition switch. Apparently I have burned and frayed wires going to my radio that caused more problems that I've never had a problem with when I really don't. Going in I had a problem with no power to the radio, clock, side mirrors and windshield wipers. Coming out I have power to the windshield wipers, no power to the radio and now the windows, still the clock, still the radio and still the mirrors and now have no power to the vehicle when the car isn't turned to the "on" position so no dome lights when I open the door either.

Called and told them and they tell me I have burned and frayed wires going to my radio that probably caused more problems that Ive never had a problem with before. I don't have any bad wiring. When I took a look, everything wired is clean and unused wires are butted off. The only thing they could tell me was "we can fix it it's just going to take time and money."

If I would have noticed the problems before I left and got home I would have not taken it back home. Instead they have the car running and ready for you to leave the lot, maybe to cover the fact they messed something up they didn't want to fix.

If you do take your car here note everything that is working and check that everything is working plus what they said they did BEFORE you leave.

To the right looks like the original wiring harness for the stock stereo with only the power being used from it and the wiring on the left looks like all the speakers and the ground. I don't see any burned or frayed wires.

The dealer, who shall remain anonymous (Sound Ford) said we needed a new engine and it would cost 9k+, the next mechanic said “oh no, too hard for us we don’t do that kind of work”. Hi-Line Auto Electric had a look and fixed it, fast, no fuss, honest and very reasonably priced. No new engine required. Highly recommended!

very bad! unprofessional service! A while ago I took my mini copper here to have it repaired (not started). They made a diagnosis and an estimate of more than 2000 dollars to repair it, I accepted the estimate because I needed the car to go to work. In the end, they demanded payment and did not repair my car (it never started).

I would give them a rating of at least 5 stars.

DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.....I would never take my car to them, you'd think a company that's been in business this long would be more professionally managed.my buddy took his car in only to have them say it was ready when they really did nothing, then he had to bring it back for them to complete the repair, only to have them tell him he needs another$700 part, you'd think a professional mechanic might know that from the beginning.... DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR HERE...... even if you're not a mechanic I think you could do a better job yourself!!!! A zero star rating is more appropriate!!!!!!!

These guys know what they're doing and charge a fair price. They traced down a number of ghosts in my 2008 Mercedes SL550 that were cratering the battery, messing with the auto door locks, and keeping the trunk from opening. Everything is good now.

I came to Mikes Hi-Line Auto shop to do annual Uber inspection. Upon arrival to the shop I was able speak to Mikes about Uber annual inspection. He stated that he will not do any inspection due to rain. I explained to him that I can all the way from Everett and he won’t listen at all. My question is that if you had a contract with Uber/Lyft that you expected to do the job with no exceptions. What in the hell is weather has to do with inspection?
