I've bought a few things from Sevenoaks over the years, specifically the Swiss Cottage branch.

The shop has a great demo room, so it's nice to be able to try things out before buying. The staff couldn't have been more helpful (thank you Oli and Len) and their product knowledge and pre and post-sales support are always excellent.

The other great reviews on here show that this isn't a one-off. Looking forward to my next visit!

Oli and Dori helped with my purchase of some ex demonstration units (pre-amp streamer, power amplifier and turntable) and gave invaluable advice on the choice of phono stage for the MC cartridge which came with the turntable. All new ground for me and I am delighted with the sound quality I am now experiencing. Thanks to both!

After eight years from the previous installation (very expertly installed by Sevenoaks), I have just renewed the amp/streamer with very good results. Oli has assisted expertly throughout (on both occasions), and it is always a pleasant and courteous experience.

Like other reviewers of Sevenoaks Swiss Cottage, I too have bought HiFi kit over the years from Sevenoaks. I have been completely satisfied, and even more so this time. Ollie recognised us from a previous purchase more than seven years ago. He is a long-term staff member, which we appreciate, and has demonstrated his knowledge in words laypeople like my wife and I can understand. He has a kind and helpful manner. He has indicated options relating to what we have been looking for on our limited budget (not what he wanted us to buy) without comment. A week ago he accomodated us when we had just dropped in to the shop to look at speakers by immediately fixing a demonstration. He left us alone to listen as long as we needed. I told him there was another shop we rated highly which had speakers in stock we also wanted to hear. He did not bat an eyelid. We went away to compare the other speakers and returned a week later to hear the speakers we had heard before again. The ones we thought we liked most were still good. He gave us a price which recognised we were returning customers. We went away to think about his quotation. The following day I phoned to agree the price and the speakers were delivered to us one day later. They worked with my existing kit perfectly. The sound is tremendous: Monitor Audio Silver 300s 7G.

Super helpful team at Swiss Cottage, sorted out the repair and upgrade of my Naim streamer in no time and got it back before Xmas, much quicker than I expected. Friendly, knowledgeable advice and superb choice of equipment. Oli in particular was really helpful in giving me some solutions to some questions i had on speaker set-up.

Oli took our call about the project debut pro turntable we'd bought about a year ago and had started to sound really quiet.

We were asking about service options and he told us the nearest store to us but more importantly, he also asked us to check that the case housing the stylus hadn't come loose and to gently press it up, avoiding the stylus of course...and, it worked!

Playing my records at a normal volume now very happy...Great service and really appreciated his knowledge.

Contacted Sevenoaks hifi about various aspects of building a new system. I spoke to Oli who was both knowledgeable and helpful. Ending up buying a NAD C298 amp for a good price. Delivery was very swift and so highly recommended on all fronts!
